Steve has been a passionate advocate of a learning-focused approach to education since first becoming involved in the sector in 2004.

Initially working in the area of adult skills in the UK, Steve became involved in international K-12 schools when he was appointed as the CFO of World Class Learning (WCL) in 2008.

For the next five years, he helped build WCL into a leading education organisation and ultimately led on its
sale to Nord Anglia Education in 2013. Building on this experience, Steve’s vision for the International Schools Partnership is very simply to create
a learning-focused schools group centred around the idea of continuous improvement, which provides parents and students with what they actually want and creates well-rounded adults who are able to pursue successful careers and forge strong, lasting relationships.

He is a firm believer in successful organisations having solid values and a focus on creating an environment in which effective team building can flourish. Steve started his career in applied physics and after qualifying as an accountant, worked in several senior finance roles involving a lot of change management and building and developing teams. He has an MA in Physics from Oxford University. Steve spends his spare time with his family and is also a keen walker, follows both tennis and Formula 1, and is a huge fan of classical music.
